SERAIKELA – During his first visit to Saraikela after taking office, Chief Minister Champai Soren received an enthusiastic welcome from party workers and the public, emphasizing his commitment to the region’s comprehensive development.
Later, the chief minister also went to Banmalipur in Chakradharpur and attended the marriage ceremony of Sunny Oraon, the son of MLA Sukhram Oraon.
In Seraikela, Soren, greeted with garlands and flower petals at Birsa Chowk, paid homage to Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s statue, underscoring the symbolic start of his visit.
In discussions with locals, he outlined his vision for progress, ensuring that Saraikela, along with the rest of the state, would see significant advancement in meeting basic needs.
The pledge for development was met with chants and slogans from the crowd, showing widespread support for his leadership.
Notable party workers and supporters, including Sanand Acharya, Suryaraj Singhdev, Lipu Mohanty, Dinesh Sathua, Basudev Mahato, Dashrathi Paricha, and Sudhir Mahato, were present, signifying strong political backing.
