Devotees Gather for Vibrant Sastha Preeti Festival in Bistupur
Devotees experienced spiritual upliftment at the Sastha Preeti Festival at Sri Dharma Sastha Temple, with rituals and cultural performances.
JAMSHEDPUR – A significant turnout was witnessed at Sri Dharma Sastha Temple in Bistupur, where the Sastha Preeti Festival commenced with much fervor.
The festival was marked by the enchanting performance of devotional songs by the local South Indian Bhajan Group, Acharya Bhakta Sabha.
Legislator Saryu Roy graced the occasion, receiving honors from Sri P N Sankaran.
A Shobha Yatra showcasing beautifully decorated idols of Sri Maha Ganapati, Sri Karthik, and Sri Dharma Sastha added to the festival’s grandeur, captivating the Bistupur community.
Devotees were bestowed with Prasad following the grand Maha Aarti performed by the temple priests, enriching their spiritual experience.
The festival’s rituals saw the Kalash installation for all deities, conducted by Ved Pandits, followed by the Mahanyasa Poorvaka Ekadasha Rudra Poorna Abhishek, signifying a profound spiritual invocation.
The festivities began with a havan dedicated to Maha Ganapati, setting a divine ambiance for the Sastha Preeti Festival, attracting thousands to partake in the sacred celebrations.
