JAMSHEDPUR – The Interim Budget 2024, presented by the Government of India, has been met with widespread approval from the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).

SCCI President Vijay Anand Moonka praised the budget’s comprehensive approach towards economic challenges and opportunities.

Advocate Rajeev Agarwal noted the budget’s efforts to simplify the tax system, easing the burden on traders.

Advocate Anshul Ringsiya pointed out significant tax provisions, including the cancellation of certain outstanding tax demands.

The budget includes ambitious plans like PM Awas Yojana Gramin, targeting the construction of 2 crore additional houses.

Ayushman Bharat expansion, Scheme for Middle-Class Housing, and a focus on electric vehicles reflect the budget’s inclusive approach.

Notable allocations for rural development, railway infrastructure, and medical colleges expansion are set to boost various sectors.

The budget also extends tax benefits for startups and IFSC units, highlighting its forward-looking stance.

The presentation at Singhbhum Chambers, attended by dignitaries and members, underscored the budget’s potential for national development.

The SCCI’s optimistic view of the budget’s impact on the Indian economy reflects its alignment with the goals of sustainable and inclusive growth.
