ED to Quiz Soren in Land Scam Amid Tight Security

Hemant Soren’s ED Interrogation Today; Jharkhand on High Alert

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren faces ED interrogation today in the high-profile land scam case, with Ranchi’s security intensified and political tensions rising.

RANCHI – The political firmament in Jharkhand is abuzz with uncertainties and speculations as the ED prepares to quiz CM Hemant Soren in the much-debated land scam case.

Today marks a pivotal moment for Jharkhand as Chief Minister Hemant Soren undergoes interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a land scam case.

The interrogation, scheduled for 1 pm at the CM’s residence, is not the first of its kind.

On January 20, Soren faced a similar investigation by ED officials at the same location.

The earlier session, which lasted seven hours, was deemed incomplete by the ED, leading to further summons.

To date, Hemant Soren has received ten such summons from the ED.

Heightened Security Measures

In anticipation of today’s interrogation, Ranchi has ramped up its security.

The capital’s law enforcement has deployed over 1800 personnel, with a strategic focus on the path from Raj Bhavan to the CM’s residence.

Additionally, specialized forces and top-ranking police officers are stationed near the CM residence to ensure order and safety.

Political Turbulence and Preparations

The interrogation has sent ripples through the state’s political sphere.

From the CM’s movements between Delhi and Ranchi to discussions with key political figures, the atmosphere remains charged.

Authorities have implemented stringent directives to prevent any disruptions near the CM’s residence, reflecting the gravity of the situation.

Statewide Vigilance

Beyond the immediate vicinity of the interrogation, the entire city remains under close watch.

Sources said that the control room is actively monitoring Ranchi, with additional forces deployed to maintain peace.
