Young Indians’ Bike Rally Promotes Safe Driving in Jamshedpur

The Young Indians’ Jamshedpur Chapter successfully organized a Road Safety Bike Rally, emphasizing responsible riding and the dangers of overspeeding, flagged off by City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant effort to raise road safety awareness, the Jamshedpur Chapter of Young Indians hosted a "Slow Down Jamshedpur" themed Road Safety Bike Rally.

City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat inaugurated the event, underscoring its focus on promoting responsible riding practices.

The rally, supported by Jamshedpur Traffic DSP Animesh Gupta and Dronacharya Awardee Archer Purnima Mahato, witnessed enthusiastic participation.

Commencing from Sacred Heart Convent School, the bikers embarked on a 10-kilometer journey, adhering to a strict speed limit of 30 km/h.

This initiative highlighted the critical link between overspeeding and road accidents, with data from the Transport Ministry reinforcing the message.

Road Melters, a bikers club, contributed by educating participants on the importance of proper helmet use and safety measures.

The event saw active participation from students of Netaji Subhash University and Arka Jain University, who gained a new perspective on controlled speed riding.

Traffic police personnel from Jamshedpur ensured a smooth and secure rally, with Civil Defense members from South Eastern Railway also joining in.

Key organizers from Young Indians, including Shruti Jhunjhunwala, Sakshi Agarwal, Akash Anand, Harsh Agarwal, and Saurabh Agarwal, were instrumental in the rally’s success.

This rally served as a powerful reminder to the youth and community at large about the significance of adhering to speed limits for safer roads and communities.
