Online RTE Portal to Enhance Education Access in Jamshedpur

The newly launched RTE portal in Jamshedpur, initiated by District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Shri Manjunath Bhajantri, aims to monitor and ensure complete enrollment for children from vulnerable groups, offering them better educational opportunities.

JAMSHEDPUR – The launch of a new online portal, https://rteeastsinghbhum.com, marks a significant step towards enhancing educational access for children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Jamshedpur.

Under the guidance of District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri, the portal’s primary goal is to facilitate 100% enrollment under the Right to Education (RTE) Act.

This initiative specifically targets children belonging to weak and disadvantaged groups, ensuring their representation in unaided recognized private schools of the district.

The portal will be operational for parents and guardians to apply for their children from January 25, 2024, to February 10, 2024.

Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri, during the launch event, emphasized the portal’s role in achieving total enrollment and monitoring applications from as many vulnerable and disadvantaged groups as possible.

Present at the launch, District Education Superintendent Ms. Nishu Kumari affirmed the commitment to this inclusive educational approach.

The launch event highlighted the administration’s dedication to making education accessible to all sections of society, particularly those who are often left behind.

This online platform is a crucial tool in streamlining the enrollment process, bringing transparency and efficiency to the system.

By facilitating easy access to education for all, the portal is set to bridge the gap between different social strata in the district.

This move aligns with the broader goal of educational equity, ensuring that every child, irrespective of their background, has the opportunity to learn and grow.
