Their generous donation of 521 kg of laddus not only delighted the locals but also symbolized communal harmony.
The distribution of these sweet treats was done with great enthusiasm and passion, bringing smiles to many faces.
In a special gesture, the event also saw the distribution of Ramnami scarves to esteemed individuals, including Congress leader Ishwar Singh.
This act furthered the spirit of shared happiness and ethnic peace, transcending beyond mere confectionery.
Banna Gupta, deeply moved by the occasion, described it as a golden day in Indian history.
He reflected on the significance of the day, linking it to the installation of Lord Shri Ramlala at Ayodhya, a milestone achieved through the Supreme Court’s directions, the fervent desires of Ram devotees, and divine blessings.
Sardar Jasbir Singh Shere, the Association’s President, declared the day a festival and encouraged households to illuminate their homes.
He stressed the importance of overcoming divisions based on caste, religion, and language, in the spirit of unity.
As a symbol of this unity and the triumph of light over darkness, people were given lamps to commemorate the occasion.
Chairman Sardar Satbir Singh Somu narrated the journey of Lord Shri Ram from a tent to a grand temple, expressing pride in this achievement.
