JRD Sports Complex Witnesses Vibrant NHES Annual Sports Day

Narbheram Hansraj English School celebrated its Annual Sports Meet at JRD Sports Complex with a series of captivating performances and athletic events.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) hosted a grand Annual Sports Meet at the JRD Sports Complex on January 16, marking a day of athletic excellence and cultural celebration.

Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director of Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited, graced the event as the Chief Guest, inaugurating the sports meet with inspiring words.

The event kicked off with a March Past involving students from Classes 6, 7, and 8, joined by NHES alumni and parents, symbolizing the community’s unity and support.

A highlight of the meet was ‘Panorama,’ a vibrant drill display representing India’s national symbols: the peacock, dolphin, lotus, and tiger, each embodying distinct qualities.

In a special tribute, students presented a thematic display honoring Indian scientists for the successful launch of Chandrayaan 3, featuring motifs of the moon and stars.

The event also showcased a stunning yoga performance, metaphorically depicting Chandrayaan 3’s journey and lunar landing.

An all-girls contingent led the Flag March, a powerful display signifying women’s aspirations and empowerment.

Athletic prowess was on full display in various track events, including the 800-meter race, 100-meter sprint, and the 400-meter relay.

The meet concluded with prize distribution by Chief Guest Ritu Raj Sinha, School Managing Committee President Nakul Kamani, and Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury, celebrating the achievements of the participants.

This Annual Sports Meet at NHES not only highlighted the students’ sporting talents but also reflected the school’s commitment to holistic development and cultural homage.
