JAMSHEDPUR – BJP workers from the Barasol region in Baharagora constituency have alleged physical assaults and attacks on their homes by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supporters. Former BJP state president Dineshanand Goswami, along with rural president Chandi Charan Mahato and other block workers, submitted a memorandum to Jamshedpur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal on Monday, demanding justice and immediate action.
Allegations and Demands

Dineshanand Goswami accused JMM workers of conspiring to falsely implicate BJP workers in legal cases and sending them to jail. “Our workers are being attacked and framed under false charges. We have informed the SSP about the incidents and demanded strict action against those responsible for the assaults,” said Goswami.
Call for Police Action
The BJP delegation emphasized the need for police intervention to protect party workers and ensure accountability for the alleged violence. They urged the SSP to investigate the incidents thoroughly and take legal steps against the attackers to prevent such incidents in the future.
