Rajdhani Express via Ranchi Cancelled on January 16 and 17

Ranchi’s Rajdhani Express Train Services Halted for Two Days

The South Eastern Railway Ranchi Division has announced the cancellation of the Rajdhani Express train running through Jharkhand’s capital, Ranchi, on January 16 and 17. The disruption in services affects the 22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi and 22824 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar routes.

RANCHI – The Public Relations Officer of South Ranchi Division confirmed the cancellation on Monday, January 15.

Train 22823, the Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, will not operate on January 16 from Bhubaneswar to New Delhi.

Similarly, on January 17, train 22824 will not depart from New Delhi for Bhubaneswar.

These trains are known for passing through the Muri station in Ranchi, connecting the two major cities.

The cancellation is due to delays in the running of the link rake and the non-availability of a rake.

Passengers who frequently travel between these cities are advised to seek alternative arrangements for these dates.

The Rajdhani Express, known for its speed and comfort, is a vital link for travelers between Bhubaneswar and New Delhi.

This temporary disruption is expected to impact many passengers, highlighting the importance of the route in the region.

The Ranchi Railway Division has not provided further details on when the services will resume post these dates.

Travelers are encouraged to keep abreast of updates from the South Eastern Railway for information on the resumption of services.
