Devotees Embark on Prabhat Pheri in Honor of Guru Gobind Singh
Sakchi’s Gurudwara area witnessed a spiritual Prabhat Pheri, dedicated to the 357th Prakashotsav of Sikhism’s tenth Patshahi, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.
JAMSHEDPUR – Sakchi came alive with devotional fervor as devotees participated in the Prabhat Pheri, marking the 357th Prakashotsav of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.
Initiated in the early hours at 3.30 am, the procession traversed through Guru Nanak Nagar and Kashidih areas, echoing with the holy Gurubani.
Devotees showed their reverence by singing praises of the Gurus and inviting the procession to their homes, where refreshments were arranged for the participants.
Key figures like Paramjit Singh Kale and Jasvir Singh Gandhi, along with several others, led the procession.
Families like Raj Kaur, Bibi Joginder Kaur, and Bibi Balwinder Kaur, part of the Sukhmani Sahib Kirtani Jatha, contributed to the event’s spiritual ambiance.
Organizers have announced that the Prabhat Pheri will continue touring different areas of Sakchi until January 16.
Principal Nishan Singh and General Secretary Paramjeet Singh Kale encouraged devotees to invite the procession to their homes for blessings by contacting them.
The culmination of each day’s Prabhat Pheri is marked with an Ardaas at the Sakchi Gurudwara, signifying a blend of devotion and community spirit.
