Union Minister Arjun Munda emphasized cleanliness and faith during his visit to the Akarshini Temple in Kharsawan, also addressing the upcoming Ram temple consecration.
SERAIKELA – Union Minister and Khunti MP Arjun Munda made a notable visit to the Akarshini Temple in Kharsawan, where he was warmly welcomed by temple priests and party leaders.
In a symbolic act, Munda took up a broom to clean the temple’s stairs and surroundings, joined by fellow BJP leaders.
His action underlined the importance of cleanliness and respect for places of worship.
The Minister expressed his views on faith and devotion, particularly highlighting the national fervor surrounding the upcoming consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
Munda stressed the importance of worshiping deities in whom one has faith, using his visit to the revered Akarshini Peeth as an example.
He prayed to Maa Akarshini for the area’s prosperity and used the occasion to convey a message of cleanliness and devotion.
Responding to the opposition’s stance on the Ram temple issue, Munda philosophically remarked on the importance of staying true to one’s faith despite distractions.
The event saw the presence of prominent BJP figures, including Uday Singhdev, former MLA Mangal Singh Soy, District President Vijay Mahato, and other party members and supporters.
