Mango Jewelery Heist Shocks Residents
Thieves Decamp with Rs 10 Lakh Jewelery from Locked Home in Mango
In a shocking heist, gold jewelry worth Rs 10 lakh was stolen from a securely locked residence in Adarsh Nagar, Mango, leaving the local community in disbelief.
JAMSHEDPUR – Mango police are currently investigating a baffling burglary where gold jewelry valued at approximately ten lakh rupees vanished from a locked house in Adarsh Nagar.
The incident came to light when Jitendra Pandey, the homeowner, discovered the theft upon his return from East Plant Basti, where he had spent the day with his brother.
Perplexity ensued as Pandey found his house’s main entrance locked while the balcony door stood ajar.
Upon entering, a shocking scene awaited: an open almirah with its internal locker tampered and the jewelry box, containing valuables worth Rs 10 lakh, missing.
The distressing discovery led to Pandey’s wife collapsing from the shock of the theft.
Pandey, unable to fathom how the thieves gained access despite the locked main door, promptly reported the incident to local BJP leader Vikas Singh.
Upon receiving the news, Singh immediately visited Pandey’s residence to assess the situation and thereafter informed the Mango police station.
The police arrived at the scene, launching an investigation into this perplexing robbery.
