Sakchi’s Jam@Street Event Draws Massive Crowd with Diverse Activities

Over 20,000 people gather at Sakchi for the Jam@Street event, enjoying activities from martial arts to live music, organized by Tata Steel UISL in collaboration with Tata Steel and Tata Steel Foundation.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel UISL, in collaboration with Tata Steel and Tata Steel Foundation, successfully organized the second Jam@Street event in Sakchi, drawing an impressive crowd of over 20,000 participants.

The event was a hub of excitement and enthusiasm, with participants engaging in a plethora of activities.

The streets were alive with diverse attractions including Zumba, basketball, horse riding, live band performances, chess, skating, a selfie corner, cosmic yoga, and karaoke.

Aimed at catering to varied interests, the event offered a vibrant mix of entertainment.

Highlights of this year’s Jam@Street were Gatka (local martial art), Chess, Selfie Corner, Mixed Martial Arts, Cycling Experience, alongside a greater number of artists and food stalls than previous editions.

These new features added a unique flair to the event, captivating the imagination of attendees and amplifying the festive atmosphere.

Distinguished guests Shri Chanakya Chaudhary, Chairman of Tata Steel UISL, and Shri Dhananjay Mishra, Senior General Manager, Town O&M & RE, graced the event.

Their presence and enthusiasm significantly contributed to the event’s lively ambiance.

The food stall managed by the Hoteliers Association was a particular hit among the attendees, adding to the day’s enjoyment.

Jam@Street in Sakchi has become more than just an event; it is a cherished platform for emerging artists and a symbol of community spirit and celebration eagerly anticipated by the people of Jamshedpur each year.
