Kunal Sarangi Advocates for Development in Gudabandha Block

Former MLA Engages with Villagers on Progress and Social Issues in Gudabandha

Former MLA Kunal Sarangi visited Balijudi Panchayat, addressing political, social issues and providing support to the needy during his Sughar Yatra.

JAMSHEDPUR – During his twelfth stop on the Sughar Yatra, former MLA Kunal Sarangi visited several villages in Balijudi Panchayat of Gudabandha block, including Balijudi, Lakdabasa, Hathidhar, Naikanshol.

Sarangi held meetings with locals, discussing current political and social issues and extended help to those in need.

He highlighted over 29 schemes implemented during his tenure for Balijhudi Panchayat, ranging from cultural building construction to road and school infrastructure development.

Sarangi raised questions about the stagnation of development work despite the current local MLA being part of the ruling party.

In Balijhudi, he met orphan girls from Bengal and advocated for their welfare with the Deputy Commissioner, urging a monthly stipend of Rs 2000.

Responding to the passing of Chudamani Soren in Balijhudi Mahlisai, Sarangi offered financial assistance and a blanket to the bereaved family.

He also provided a blanket to Khiro Singh of Pandarapathar, who had been living alone and without such aid.

The Vallabh Youth Organization contributed by providing a smart stick to Radhakant Nayak, a resident of Hakhidhar.

Concerned about the safety risks posed by a 11000 volt wire in Balijhudi Ghosh Tola, Sarangi contacted the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department to address the issue.

The meeting saw participation from numerous villagers, including Sagir Hussain, Shiv Shankar Patar, and Gram Pradhan Ganesh Dehuri, reflecting the community’s engagement in these discussions.

Sarangi’s visit underscores his commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of the people in the Gudabandha block and advocating for their development and welfare.
