SERAIKELA – A devastating collision between two motorcycles near Kandra railway overbridge claims two lives.

The tragic incident occurred early Friday morning on the Kandra-Chauka road.

Moreover, three individuals, including a woman and her daughter, sustained injuries in the crash.

Meanwhile, one of the deceased has been identified as Shambhu Mahto from Negtasai village.

However, the identity of the second deceased motorcyclist remains unknown.

Furthermore, the injured victims are currently receiving medical care at MGM Hospital.

"The accident occurred when the family was heading to Swarnrekha river for Chhath celebrations," stated a local resident.

In addition, sources revealed that Mahto was employed at a company in Gamharia.

On the other hand, authorities are working to identify the second deceased rider.
