Singhbhum Chamber Hosts Police-Businessmen Dialogue on City Issues

Senior Police Officers and Business Community Discuss Law, Order, and Traffic Concerns

In a collaborative effort, Singhbhum Chamber organized a live interaction with senior police officers to address citywide issues.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a live interaction program for businessmen and entrepreneurs with senior police officers of East Singhbhum.

Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia provided details of the event, which focused on law and order, traffic, and security concerns in the city.

Vice President of Trade and Commerce, Anil Modi, initiated the program by introducing the police officials.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal, Superintendent of Police (City) Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, and other high-ranking officers were present.

Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka highlighted the importance of dialogue in addressing and resolving issues.

He praised the police for their role in ensuring public safety and highlighted recent successes in crime resolution.

Moonka also raised concerns about financial losses to shopkeepers due to road encroachments in Sakchi market and other traffic-related issues.

The program addressed various topics, including traffic jams, vehicle checking on Mango bridge, auto driver dress code, cyber crime, and the use of hoardings.

Rural Superintendent of Police Rishabh Garg acknowledged the city’s industrial nature and the benefits of such programs in understanding and resolving public issues.

City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat committed to addressing the raised concerns, particularly focusing on traffic, encroachment, and cyber crime.

He pledged to work on chamber representation in police station Peace Committees.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal emphasized the role of trade and commerce in regional development.

He acknowledged the challenges of increasing population and vehicle numbers, promising efforts to alleviate traffic jams and parking issues.

Kaushal also advised on security measures like installing quality CCTV cameras and preventive measures against cyber crime.

Businessmen and entrepreneurs present raised their queries, which were addressed by the police officers.

Secretary of Public Relations and Welfare Suresh Sharma Lipu expressed gratitude to all participants, including police officers and media.

Notable attendees included various office bearers of the Singhbhum Chamber, such as Vice President Anil Modi, Secretary Bharat Makani, and Treasurer CA Anil Ringsiya, among others.
