Jharkhand Public Service Commission Releases Medical Officer Results, Women Shine

Jharkhand Public Service Commission’s recent appointment of 172 Medical Officers, including a significant number of women, marks a progressive step in the healthcare sector.

RANCHI – The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) announced the appointment of 172 regular Medical Officers, a move highlighting the growing participation of women in the medical field with 77 women securing positions.

Rajneesh Kaur led the results, topping the selection process in Jharkhand, followed by Priyansha Rani and Bandana Kumari securing the second and third spots, respectively.

This significant recruitment process involved interviews for 230 posts, with 439 candidates in contention, reflecting JPSC’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services.

The Commission, led by Dr. Mary Neelima Kerketta, conducted the interviews over the weekend, culminating in the release of the final results on Tuesday.

The integrity of the selection process was ensured by the Commission’s members, including Dr. Jamal Ahmed, Secretary Chandra Kishore Oraon, Controller of Examinations Asim Kispotta, and Deputy Controller of Examinations Anurag Lakra.

The official release of the sealed results symbolizes a transparent and fair recruitment process by the JPSC, setting a precedent for future appointments.

With the inclusion of a substantial number of women among the appointed Medical Officers, JPSC has showcased its commitment to gender diversity in the healthcare sector.
