Heavy Vehicle Hit-and-Run Claims Life on Station Road, Jamshedpur

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a heavy vehicle late Sunday near Tatanagar Railway Superintendent’s office, Jamshedpur, with police now investigating.

JAMSHEDPUR -A tragic incident occurred late Sunday night at Station Road near Tatanagar Railway Superintendent of Police office in Bagbera police station area of Jamshedpur.

A person died after being hit by a heavy vehicle.

The local people informed Bagbera police following the incident.

Police arrived at the scene, seizing the body and transporting it to the GRP police station mortuary.

Eyewitnesses reported the victim was crossing the road when struck by the vehicle.

The heavy vehicle’s wheel ran over the victim’s head, resulting in instant fatality.

The deceased was dressed in a blue sweater and black jeans pants.

Bagbera police station in-charge stated the victim’s identity remains unknown.

Efforts are underway to identify the deceased.
