JAMSHEDPUR – A sudden intense fire engulfed a closed shop near Triveni Chowk in Parsudih, Jamshedpur, late Saturday night, completely destroying the establishment.

The Jharkhand Fire Department’s prompt intervention played a crucial role in averting a potential disaster.

Alert locals who noticed sparks from the shop immediately called the fire department, leading to a rapid response.

Firefighters battled the blaze for one and a half hours before successfully bringing it under control.

Prior to the arrival of the fire department, residents attempted to douse the flames by breaking shutters and using water, but their efforts were insufficient to contain the fire.

Eyewitness accounts highlighted the grave potential of the situation, noting that the fire could have easily spread to adjacent shops, causing significant damage.
