District officials in Jamshedpur receive training for efficient conduct of Lok Sabha elections 2024.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant move towards the Lok Sabha elections of 2024, the Jamshedpur district administration has begun its preparatory phase, following directives from the Election Commission.

A comprehensive training session for all sector officers and police officers was conducted on Wednesday.

Hosted at the Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur, the training aimed at equipping officials with necessary guidelines and procedures for the upcoming elections.

Key district officials led the training, including District Panchayat Raj Officer Dr. Ranjanikant Mishra, Jamshedpur BDO Sachchidanand Mahato, Dhalbhumgarh BDO Babli Kumari, and DSP Animesh Kumar Gupta.

The session saw the participation of all electoral registration officers, with a focus on enhancing their readiness for election duties.

Dhalbhum SDO and Deputy Election Officer Priyanka Singh, who played a pivotal role in the training program, emphasized the importance of understanding the protocols for pre and post-election procedures.

The training highlighted the administration’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and fair electoral process, reflecting the democratic ethos of the region.

This initiative underscores the importance of well-trained officials in the successful execution of one of the largest democratic exercises in the world.
