Government Women’s Polytechnic College in Gamharia celebrates the arrival of new students with vibrant festivities.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Government Women’s Polytechnic College in Gamharia, Seraikela district, marked the beginning of a new academic journey for its latest batch of girl students with a grand welcome event named ‘Aagaaz 2023’ on Monday.
Seraikela SDO Parul Singh graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.
Senior students of the college put up a series of mesmerizing performances on a beautifully crafted stage, showcasing a blend of tradition and modernity.
Principal Sanjeev Kumar highlighted the college’s eminent status among Jharkhand’s government polytechnics and its track record of producing highly successful students.
He emphasized the institution’s unique environment, often likened to that of private schools or colleges, fostering excellence and innovation.
‘Aagaaz 2023’ was lauded for its exemplary organization, primarily driven by the senior students, and supported by the Seraikela administrative team.
The event saw notable attendance, including Gamharia police station in-charge Alok Kumar Dubey, chief Savita Hansda, various administrative officials, and public representatives, reflecting the community’s support for educational initiatives.
