JAMSHEDPUR -In a disturbing incident of domestic violence, Rohit Chaudhary, a resident of Baridih Bagun Nagar under Sidhgora police station, was brutally assaulted allegedly by his uncle, R Aggarwal, and cousin, GAggarwal, over a property dispute.

The attack, which occurred in their family home, led to Rohit being admitted to MGM Hospital in a severely injured state.

Rohit revealed a history of abuse, stating that he and his father, Vinod Kumar Aggarwal, have been subjected to continuous harassment by R Aggarwal and his family.

The aggressors have reportedly been exerting pressure on Rohit and his family to vacate their house and comply with their demands, resorting to physical violence in cases of non-compliance.

The conflict escalated on Tuesday morning over a minor disagreement, culminating in the violent confrontation.

The local PCR team, alerted to the disturbance, arrived at the scene and intervened, bringing the situation under control and assisting the injured Rohit to the hospital.

Adding to the gravity of the situation, Rohit, currently unemployed, shared that he and his father are reliant on his uncle and cousin for sustenance, receiving only one meal a day.

This dependency has been leveraged to threaten and mistreat them further.

Rohit’s current job search efforts have been in vain, exacerbating his vulnerability in this family conflict.
