JAMSHEDPUR – In a shocking incident near the Aegis Call Center under Ulidih police station, three drug abusers attacked Mohan Das and Vikas Prasad, residents of Sankosai 5th Road.
The attack occurred when Mohan Das protested against drug consumption in his locality, provoking the assailants.
Both brothers were repeatedly stabbed, resulting in serious injuries.
Mohan Das, sustaining eleven stitches in his right hand, managed to inform BJP leader Vikas Singh about the assault.
Vikas Prasad suffered a severe neck wound, requiring six stitches.
BJP leader Vikas Singh, upon visiting the site, expressed his concern over the increasing drug menace and its impact on the community.
He promptly reported the incident to the local Ulidih police station, urging the immediate arrest of the attackers.
Vikas Singh highlighted the community’s struggle against drug-related crimes and its repercussions.
The police are now investigating the incident, with efforts underway to apprehend the culprits.
