JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Jamshedpur plant has achieved a significant accolade by being conferred the IIM National Sustainability Awards 2023.

This recognition comes from the esteemed Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) in the ‘Large Integrated Steel Plants’ category.

The Jamshedpur site has notably emerged as a joint winner in this prestigious category.

Chaitanya Bhanu, Vice President of Steel Manufacturing at Tata Steel, received the award on behalf of the company.

The award ceremony took place on November 23, marking a momentous occasion for Tata Steel and its Jamshedpur facility.

This award recognizes the plant’s commitment to sustainable practices in steel manufacturing.
