SER announces train cancellations due to developmental work in Chakradharpur Division.
JAMSHEDPUR – The South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced the cancellation of several trains due to ongoing developmental work in the Chakradharpur Division.
On 28th November 2023, the 18109/18110 Tatanagar-Itwari-Tatanagar Express will not operate.
Additionally, the 08167/08168 Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Rourkela MEMU Special, scheduled for the same day, will also remain cancelled.
These cancellations are part of the developmental initiatives undertaken by the railway division to improve infrastructure and service quality.
The Chakradharpur Division, a critical segment of the South Eastern Railway, frequently undergoes maintenance and upgrade works to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency.
This division plays a significant role in the region’s connectivity, servicing a vast area and supporting both passenger and freight transportation.
In its statement, the SER expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to passengers due to these cancellations.
