JAMSHEDPUR – The book fair organized by the Tagore Society in Jamshedpur is witnessing a significant turnout, attracting book lovers from various sections of society. The fair has become particularly popular among students for its extensive collection of academic and competitive examination books.

Students from DBMS College of Education have been notably active in purchasing books tailored for engineering and medical entrance exams, as well as materials for major competitive examinations. Books on Jharkhand history and JSSC CGL preparation are also in high demand. Additionally, materials for the JPSC preliminary and main exams are being sought after by aspirants.

The fair is not just limited to academic books. Visitors are also buying books for personal and familial enjoyment, including children’s books, chart papers, and maps of India.

During an educational tour of the book fair, DBMS College Principal Dr. Juhi Pradita, Management Committee Secretary Mrs. Sripriya Dharmarajan, Librarian Nikki Singh, and Assistant Professors Poonam Kumari, Moushumi Dutta, and Gayatri Kumari guided the students, highlighting the importance of diverse reading materials.
