Developmental Works in Adra Lead to Train Regulations by SER
The South Eastern Railway (SER) has made key train service adjustments due to developmental works in the Adra Division.
JAMSHEDPUR – The South Eastern Railway has announced significant train service regulations due to ongoing developmental works in its Adra Division.
These changes include short terminations and diversions affecting various train services.
The Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU Special, scheduled for December 1, 2023, will now terminate and originate from Adra instead of its usual route.
Similarly, the Adra-Midnapur-Adra MEMU Special, with journeys commencing on November 28, December 1, and December 3, 2023, will be short terminated and originated from Bankura.
The Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express, set for December 1, 2023, will also follow the same pattern, terminating and originating from Adra.
Additionally, the Tatanagar-Hatia Express will be diverted via Chandil-Gunda Bihar on several dates, including November 27 and 29, December 1, and December 3, 2023.
These adjustments are a necessary part of ensuring the successful completion of the developmental works in the Adra Division.
SER has expressed regret for any inconvenience these changes may cause to passengers and urges them to plan their travel accordingly.
