Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme Available to Poor Students after 10th and 12th

Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme: A Boon for Economically Weaker Students in Jharkhand

The DC of East Singhbhum, Manjunath Bhajantri, encourages eligible students to benefit from the state’s Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme.

JAMSHEDPUR – Manjunath Bhajantri, the District Commissioner of East Singhbhum, has made a significant appeal to students from economically weaker sections. He urges them to take advantage of the Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme, a state government initiative aimed at providing financial aid for higher education.

The scheme is specifically tailored for students who have passed the 10th and 12th grades but find it challenging to pursue further education due to financial constraints.

Applicants are required to fill out a Student Information Request Form to be eligible for this program.

Under the auspices of the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program, running from 24th November to 26th December, panchayat level camps are set up for students to submit their applications.

The Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme is particularly advantageous as it offers loans up to ₹15 lakh without any margin money for loans up to ₹4 lakh.

This initiative is designed to connect qualifying students with banks, offering them loans at concessional rates for their higher education needs.

This call to action by the DC is a critical step in ensuring that the youth of Jharkhand, especially those from financially weaker backgrounds, have access to necessary resources to continue their educational journey.
