Due to developmental works in the Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway has announced the diversion of several trains.

JAMSHEDPUR – The South Central Railway has announced the diversion of multiple train services due to developmental works in the Vijayawada Division.

These changes will affect various trains, including the Ernakulam-Patna Express and the Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (Bengaluru) – Guwahati Express.

The diverted routes will primarily pass through Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, and Nidadavolu.

The Ernakulam-Patna Express, scheduled for November 27, 2023, will be among the first trains to follow the new route.

Similarly, the Dhanbad-Alappuzha Express will be diverted on several dates ranging from November 27 to December 3, 2023.

Other affected services include the Hatia- Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (Bengaluru) Express and the Tatanagar-Yesvantpur Express.
