Fire Destroys House, Property in Mango Ramakrishna Colony
BJP leader Vikas Singh urges disaster compensation for Jamshedpur resident after a devastating house fire.
BJP’s Vikas Singh demands disaster relief for Shibu Majhi, whose house in Jamshedpur was ravaged by fire, causing an estimated loss of ₹8 lakh.
JAMSHEDPUR – Upon learning about a severe fire at Mango Ramakrishna Colony resident Shibu Kumar Majhi’s home, BJP leader Vikas Singh visited the site for a firsthand assessment.
Shibu reported that the fire might have been caused by an electrical short circuit or a lamp.
The property damage is roughly estimated at eight lakh rupees.
Fortunately, no family member was injured in the incident.
Shibu Majhi, who is recently married, lost all household appliances and jewelry in the fire.
Vikas Singh, at the scene, called on the Disaster Minister to provide compensation to Majhi’s family through the Disaster Department.
The fire, which broke out near Mango Payal Talkies in Jamshedpur, created a frenzy as household items went up in flames, alarming residents and neighbors.
Initial attempts to douse the fire with buckets of water proved futile.
The fire brigade, once summoned, managed to extinguish the flames after intense efforts.
The fire is believed to have started from a Diwali lamp, leading to the complete destruction of household belongings.
