PM Modi Arriving in Jharkhand Nov 14 on Historic 2-Day Visit

PM to launch key tribal missions, release funds under PM-KISAN, and inaugurate projects worth Rs. 7200 crore in Jharkhand.

PM Narendra Modi’s landmark visit to Jharkhand includes launching tribal missions, releasing PM-KISAN funds, and inaugurating development projects worth Rs. 7200 crore.

RANCHI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a significant visit to Jharkhand on 14th-15th November, 2023.

On 15th November, PM Modi will commence his visit at Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park cum Freedom Fighter Museum in Ranchi.

He will then proceed to Ulihatu Village, Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birthplace, marking the first visit by a sitting PM.

The Prime Minister will participate in the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas celebrations in Khunti at around 11:30 AM.

During the event, he will launch the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ to ensure comprehensive reach of government schemes.

Additionally, the Pradhan Mantri Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups Mission will be initiated, focusing on essential services for tribal groups.

A significant financial commitment, about Rs. 24,000 crore, has been earmarked for this mission.

PM Modi is set to release the 15th instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme, amounting to Rs. 18,000 crores.

The visit will also see the inauguration of various development projects in Jharkhand, totaling around Rs. 7200 crore.

These projects span multiple sectors including infrastructure, education, and energy.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aims to increase awareness and enrol beneficiaries for welfare schemes.

The mission will initially focus on districts with significant tribal populations and expand nationwide by 25th January 2024.

The PM PVTG Mission will enhance basic facilities and ensure saturation of several key government schemes for the tribal groups.

Further, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation for important projects in rail, road, education, and energy sectors.

Notable projects include the four-laning of NH133 and NH114 A, a new coal handling plant, and educational institution buildings.

Railway projects and the achievement of 100% Railway Electrification in Jharkhand will also be highlighted.
