Two New Dengue Cases Surface in East Singhbhum; 18 Patients Discharged on Same Day

Two more test positive for dengue in East Singhbhum, even as 18 get discharged. Total active cases stand at 106.

JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum district witnessed a surge in dengue cases on Monday with two new positive diagnoses.

In a sample test conducted on October 23, one patient from Burmamines and another from Kadma were confirmed dengue positive.

The total number of dengue positive cases in Kolhan division has now reached 1,358, out of 11,524 samples tested.

Currently, 106 people are undergoing treatment for dengue in the district’s hospitals.

Out of these, three patients are in the ICU, while 103 are housed in regular wards.

In a piece of relieving news, 18 dengue patients were discharged from the hospital on the same day.
