Dengue Cases Rise in District Despite Ongoing Efforts to Curb Outbreak
New Dengue Cases Detected in District, 25 Discharged from Hospital; Authorities Urge Vigilance
Despite measures in place, four new dengue cases were detected in the district on October 16. So far, 1305 have been found positive, while 151 are currently hospitalized.
JAMSHEDPUR – Dengue continues to pose a formidable challenge to district authorities despite measures to contain the spread.
On Monday, four new individuals were found dengue positive in the district, while 25 were discharged from the hospital, signaling both progress and persisting problems.
According to the sample tests conducted on October 16, the four new cases include one individual each from Bagbera, Parsudih, Kadma, and Musabani.
So far, out of a total of 10,686 samples tested, 1,305 individuals in the Kolhan division have been diagnosed as dengue positive.
Currently, 151 people are under medical care in hospitals, with 10 in the ICU and 141 in regular wards.
In light of these developments, the district administration has called upon residents to remain vigilant against mosquito breeding sites and to continue taking precautions against the disease.
