“Face to Face” Uplifts Local Women Artisans with Pre-Puja Exhibition at Loknath Bhavan

JAMSHEDPUR – Social organization “Face to Face” has taken a commendable step toward women empowerment in Jamshedpur.

The organization, in cooperation with “Bang Bandhu,” organized a pre-puja exhibition-cum-sale event at Loknath Bhavan, Pramthnagar, Parsudih.

The two-day event, scheduled for 26 and 27 August, features 16 stalls offering a diverse range of products including sarees, kurtis, salwar suits, dalma tea, bed sheets, pillow covers, teddy toys, papad, pickles, namkeen, handmade jewelry, and even handmade leather bags.

In a customer-friendly move, discounts are being offered on selected products.

Aparna, the chairperson of the organizing committee, revealed that all stall owners are local artisans who have crafted these items at home.

Highlighting the event’s aim of women empowerment, Aparna stated that similar fairs will continue to be organized.

The event was inaugurated by Jugslai Traffic Inspector Sangeeta Kumari, who lit the inaugural lamp.

Present at the event were notable local figures such as Ratna Patro, Sharmistha Sarkar, Nandita Chakraborty, Progya Paromita, Rajshree Chatterjee, Soma Sen, Laboni Mukherjee, and Arpita Roy.
