Jamshedpur Women’s University Plans Major Expansion

Jamshedpur Women’s University marks Independence Day; expansion of facilities and new courses for employment opportunities announced.

JAMSHEDPUR – 77th Independence Day at Jamshedpur Women’s University witnessed Vice-chancellor Anjila Gupta raising the flag at both Sidhgora and Bistupur campuses.

She said that the University will move to Sidhgora campus in September and Sidhgora campus too will open.

The University will build necessary facilities such as auditorium, common room, sports and cultural room, and conference hall to fulfill Raj Bhavan requirements to acquire Institute of Excellence accreditation.

New employment opportunities for girls through courses such as Artificial Intelligence, Plant Tissue Culture Technology, Food Microbiology, Forensic Science, Sericulture, Event Management, Mushroom Cultivation Technology, Kathak, Guitar, Goods and Service Tax, and Digital Marketing etc would also be offered, she added.
