BJP Initiates “Meri Mati Mera Desh” Campaign in Jamshedpur
On PM’s Call, Jamshedpur BJP launches a campaign to collect soil from villages of brave sons for Amrit Vatika; Former CM Raghubar Das and District MP Bidyut Baran Mahato attend the event.
JAMSHEDPUR – Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, has initiated the Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan in Jamshedpur, where soil will be collected from the villages of the country’s brave sons and sent to Amrit Vatika in Delhi.
The campaign was kickstarted on Sunday by organizing a program by the District BJP.
Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das and District MP Viddut Varan Mahato graced the event as chief guests.
During the program, urns were handed over to all the Mandal Committees to collect soil from 27 Mandals of the district.
Along with this, the Tiranga Yatra was also conducted to strengthen the presence of the tricolor in every house.
It was revealed that the soil of brave sons and great men would be collected from 75 thousand blocks across the country.
The collected soil will be sent to Amrit Vatika built in Delhi, where 75 thousand plants will be planted in memory of the brave sons and great men of the nation.
