Jamshedpur FC Squad and Head Coach to Attend Premier Division Final on Aug 12

Jamshedpur FC squad and Head Coach Scott Cooper will be present at the Premier Division final, boosting morale for the teams at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday, August 12.

JAMSHEDPUR – The senior team of Jamshedpur FC, along with supporters from Jamshedpur FC’s Football Schools program from various schools in the city, will be in attendance at the Premier Division final.

The grand event is set to take place at 5 PM at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday, August 12.

Two more exciting matchups are scheduled, with Adivasi Development and Welfare Association and New Boys Club playing in the A Division Final on August 11 at 3 PM at Tinplate Sports Complex, and Jamshedpur FC Reserves and Tata Steel playing in the Premier Division Final on the following day.

In a special highlight of the season, Mr. Victor Somaya (Chairman – Players Selection Committee) presented Gram Vikash Kendra with the S. Zubair Alam Award for Fair Play.

The league’s top performers were also honored, with Mr. Navin J Sundi (H.O.R – Jharkhand Football Association) presenting Krishna Bodra the P Vijay Kumar Award for Top Goal Scorer and Mr. Anand Menezes awarding Saroj Mardi the Ramesh Mehata Award for Best Goalkeeper.

The final was graced by notable guests including Mr. Hemant Gupta, Head Adventure Project & Sports and Vice President, and Mr. Anand Menezes, Senior Manager TFA & Sports and Secretary, JSA.

Adding to the historical significance of the event, Ms. Rani Ravi Das, a female referee, skillfully presided over the match.

Dalma Tiger FC’s victory in the Super Division title was sealed by Rabinder Manjhi’s third goal in the 85th minute, after several months of intense football play.

Despite Thakkar Bapa Club’s efforts to regain the lead, they were bested in the end, with Sachin Singh Sardar’s goal in the 55th minute giving Dalma Tiger FC the advantage.

Thakkar Bapa Club had managed to equalize before halftime with Aman Hembram’s goal in the 42nd minute, but their joy was short-lived.

Dalma Tiger FC’s dominance was evident from the beginning, with Rajesh Murmu’s goal in the 22nd minute setting the tone, and the team displaying skill and desire throughout the match.

Dalma Tiger FC emerged as the champions, defeating Thakkar Bapa Club 3-1 and winning the JSA League Super Division title, in an exciting and tightly contested game.
