Man Gets 20 Years Prison for Minor’s Rape in Galudih Case

JAMSHEDPUR – Special POCSO Judge Sirish Dutt Tripathi sentenced Dhananjay Singh to 20 years in prison for raping a minor.
The incident occurred in 2020 in Galudih police station area. Meanwhile, the court also imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on the convict.
Nine witnesses testified during the trial proceedings. However, co-accused Narendra Singh received acquittal due to lack of evidence.

The victim’s mother filed the complaint at Galudih police station. Moreover, she reported noticing her daughter’s distressed behavior.
The 14-year-old victim was assaulted while returning from a village shop. Furthermore, the accused took inappropriate photographs of her.
