Modi Inaugurates Major Rail Upgrades in Manoharpur Online

Online foundation stone laying of 20 railway stations revamp under Amrit Bharat Station Plan by PM Modi from Delhi hailed in Manoharpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The grand event of railway station upgrades was initiated online by PM Narendra Modi from Delhi on Sunday, marking a significant day in Manoharpur’s railway history. 

In the ambitious Amrit Bharat Station Plan, he remotely laid the cornerstone for the renovation of 508 railway stations across the country, dedicating them to the people. 

Notably, 20 state-run stations, including four major ones in the Chakradharpur Railway Division, are part of this massive INR 25,000 crore project. 

The comprehensive initiative aims to transform railway travel for the average passenger. 

This prominent ceremony was broadcasted live via video conference, where PM Modi also shared his ambitious vision for future rail-related projects. 

Along with railway infrastructure, a range of cultural performances were presented by students from the DAV Sant Narsingh Balika School in Manoharpur. 

Themes revolved around patriotism, rail safety, scouting, and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. 

ADRM cum CPM Rajeev Gupta of the CKP Railway Division, who attended the foundation-stone-laying event, informed the audience about the finer details of these railway projects. 

The event witnessed a host of special guests including former MLA Gurcharan Nayak, Vice President of the Zilla Parishad Ranjit Yadav, and other senior members of the Chakradharpur Railway Division. 

They appreciated the railway administration for planning and executing such extensive railway development plans. 

Notably, the stage was managed by OSO of the Railway Division, Rajesh Kumar.

The event concluded with the chief guest distributing awards to outstanding students and guests being presented with flowers and clothing.
