Saryu Roy Urges Youth to Embody Bhagat Singh’s Spirit in Fight Against Corruption

Jamshedpur East MLA Calls for Courage to Speak Truth and Solve Nation’s Problems

Saryu Roy, MLA from Jamshedpur East, has called upon the youth to embody the spirit of martyr Bhagat Singh in the fight against corruption, inflation, unemployment, and government crimes, rather than merely raising slogans on martyrdom days.

JAMSHEDPUR – Speaking at the memorial of Bhagat Singh in Jamco, Jamshedpur, on Saturday, Roy emphasized the need for the young generation to go beyond annual celebrations and draw inspiration from the thoughts and works of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru to address the nation’s pressing issues.

“Everyone wants a Bhagat Singh to be born to solve the country’s problems, but they want him to be born in a neighbor’s house, not their own,” Roy remarked, highlighting the reluctance of individuals to take personal responsibility.

The MLA urged citizens to muster the courage to call out truth and lies, warning that failure to do so would result in the continuation of mere sloganeering on martyrdom days without any meaningful change in societal behavior.

Roy identified corruption as the biggest problem facing the nation today and cautioned against taking any steps that would hinder any section of society from raising their voice against it.

“Sounding the trumpet of fight against corruption will be our true tribute to immortal martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru,” he asserted.

The MLA also stressed the need to compel the company and administration to take action in the public interest to resolve the prevalent problems in Jamshedpur.

He called for setting aside personal vested interests and moving forward to address public issues and ensure that people receive their rights.

“The tendency to make compromises at every step for personal gain will shatter the dreams of the immortal martyrs,” Roy warned, urging the public to prioritize the greater good over individual benefits.

The MLA’s message aimed to inspire the youth to actively participate in the fight against corruption and other societal issues, drawing strength from the ideals and sacrifices of India’s revered martyrs.
