RYLA Udaan 24 Set to Inspire Youth in Jamshedpur

Over 400 students to gather for leadership development on April 20-21

Jamshedpur’s Motilal Nehru Public School prepares to host the distinguished RYLA Udaan 24 event, slated for April 20 and 21, 2024. This initiative, orchestrated by the Rotary Club of Steel City in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Netaji Subhas University Social Crew, aims to foster leadership skills and personal growth among youth.

JAMSHEDPUR – The event’s orchestrators include Rotary President Amrita Vakharia, Secretary Preeti Khara, and key Rotary members such as DRRC Simran Sagoo, Deepak Dokania, and Secretary Shanawaz Tasheen, with additional contributions from RYLA Chair Amit, Krishna Kharia, Gaurav Rungta, and Rotaract Social Crew President Fahada.

They are dedicated to the successful execution of RYLA Udaan 24, emphasizing collaboration and community involvement.

With the engagement of Tata Steel Adventure, the event underscores its commitment to holistic development by integrating a Runathon, with courses spanning 3.5 km and 5 km, catering to both the physical and mental well-being of participants.

Scheduled across two days, the event features a rich agenda meticulously crafted by Secretary Preeti Khara.

Highlights include Talent Hunt competitions, engaging Nukkad Natak sessions, and thought-provoking quizzes designed to offer a comprehensive and enriching experience.

During this flagship event, insights on leadership, community service, and professional advancement will be shared by a roster of eminent speakers, including the upcoming DG 25-26 Anu Narang, AI expert Akshay Agarwal, and renowned figure Dr. Shrikant Nair.

Their presence is set to enrich discussions and inspire the attendees.

Adding prestige to the occasion, Rotary District Governor Shiv Praskash Bagania will grace the event as the Chief Guest. His presence is highly anticipated by community members and participants alike.

"Empowering our youth to act as agents of positive change is crucial for fostering global citizenship," stated President Vakharia, highlighting the core mission of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards to develop leadership capabilities and establish enduring connections among young individuals.

The event will also focus on the Rotary youth exchange program, aimed at revitalizing international opportunities for attendees within District 3250. This inclusion serves to broaden the horizons of the participating students, drawn from numerous schools across Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, and Bihar.
