Jharkhand Assembly Monsoon Session Day 2: Ruling Party and Opposition Clash
Monsoon session in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly sees heated exchanges between ruling party and opposition over state issues.
RANCHI – The second day of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly’s monsoon session was marked by high drama as the ruling party and the opposition locked horns.
While the ruling party raised concerns about the situation in Manipur, the opposition retaliated by questioning the state government’s handling of key issues such as the implementation of planning policy and law and order.
Chandankiyari MLA Amar Kumar Bauri criticized the ruling party, pointing out that instead of focusing on their own state, they were concerned about Manipur.
He stated, “There is a government, leaders, and officials there to take care of Manipur.
According to Bauri, the ruling party’s misplaced focus is affecting Jharkhand’s youth.
Millions of our youth are unemployed, and non-implementation of planning policy is worsening the situation,” Bauri claimed.
Bauri also raised concerns about the law and order situation, citing instances of daytime house invasions and violent crimes.
Highlighting the plight of tribal women and Dalits, he said, “Incidents like rape are happening with tribal women. The Dalits of the state are feeling threatened, yet the government is wasting its time on the Manipur issue.
