Narbheram Hansraj English School Celebrates World Nature Conservation Day

Narbheram Hansraj English School students participate in a range of activities promoting environmental conservation, including sapling plantation and creating cotton bags, as part of World Nature Conservation Day celebrations.

JAMSHEDPUR – In an endeavour to underline the indispensable role of nature in maintaining planetary health and human life, the events and initiatives organised by Narbheram Hansraj English School for World Nature Conservation Day revolved around the theme "Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet."

To encourage more environmentally friendly behaviour, students crafted cotton bags that were subsequently distributed to merchants in Kadma.

This was an attempt to curtail the use of single-use plastic bags, promoting a more sustainable approach within the community.

Moreover, the students actively took part in a plantation drive, planting saplings to highlight the crucial role that plants play in conserving the environment.

NHES students, through diverse activities held on Friday, July 28, aimed at raising consciousness about the importance of safeguarding the environment and its invaluable natural resources, celebrated World Nature Conservation Day with fervour and commitment.
