Jusco School South Park Hosts Drug Addiction Awareness Program
Jusco School South Park, in partnership with the Narcotics Control Bureau, Ranchi, organized a drug addiction awareness event, targeting the rising rates of substance abuse among city youths.
JAMSHEDPUR – On Tuesday, Jusco School South Park hosted a drug addiction awareness program in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Bureau, Ranchi. The session witnessed an active participation of around 180 students from class 11, reflecting a promising commitment towards tackling the escalating issue of substance abuse among young people in the city.
The program aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the sensitive topic, debunking myths and shedding light on the harsh realities associated with drug addiction. M Meena and Kumar Manohar Manjul, representatives from the Narcotics Control Bureau Ranchi, led the conversation, providing students with critical insights into the world of substance misuse.
The school principal, Mili Sinha, conveyed her concern about the situation and counseled the students on the importance of making informed decisions. She emphasized the power of knowledge and awareness in preventing and combating drug abuse. The event was supervised by Vice Principal Gurmeet Kaur and coordinator Tami Sikdar, ensuring a productive and informative session for the students.
