DESK – Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to the President of India, Smt Draupadi Murmu, on completing her first year in office.
The Prime Minister shared a tweet from the President of India’s Twitter handle to express his congratulatory message.
In his tweet, the Prime Minister stated: “Congratulations to Rashtrapati Ji on her first year in office! Her tireless dedication to public service and relentless pursuit of progress are extremely motivating. Her various accomplishments reflect the tangible impact of her leadership.”
The President’s one year tenure has been full of activities, public engagement and achievements.
The President of Egypt was hosted for the Republic Day celebrations in 2023, alongside the King of Cambodia on his inaugural state visit to India.
An Indian president’s first state visit to Serbia was executed under her stewardship.
She was bestowed with the “Grand Order of the Chain of the Yellow Star”, the supreme honor in Suriname.
