Cyclist Tragically Killed in Hit-and-Run Incident Near Garabasa

In a tragic hit-and-run incident, a Karandih man riding a bicycle was struck by a pick-up vehicle near Garabasa, resulting in his death.

JAMSHEDPUR – Nagendra Murmu, a resident of Karandih and an employee at the Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) in Golmuri, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident that took place near Garabasa.

Murmu, who worked as a sweeper at KSMS, was cycling towards his school when he was hit from behind by a pick-up vehicle. The force of the impact caused him to fall to the ground, sustaining severe injuries.

Following the accident, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

Local residents quickly came to Murmu’s aid and transported him to MGM Hospital for treatment.

Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the medical team, Murmu was pronounced dead upon examination.

The Golmuri police are currently investigating the incident, attempting to locate the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.
