JAMSHEDPUR – In anticipation of the forthcoming Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, Jharkhand State’s Chief Electoral Officer hosted a meeting and training program at Sidhgora Town Hall.
The event was aimed at the successful and efficient editing of the Special Brief Revision Program of the voter list.
District Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, Dhalbhum Subdivision Officer Piyush Sinha, and various BLOs, BLO Supervisors, Master Trainers, and Computer Operators attended the training program.

The attendees were specifically trained on conducting door-to-door operations before the upcoming elections.
They were instructed on how to remove the names of deceased individuals from the voter list, add names of newly eligible voters who have turned 18, and delete names of voters who have moved away.
This training is crucial as a door-to-door program will be run from July 21 to August 21, during which all BLOs will complete the Voter List Special Brief Revision 2024.
