Police Inspector’s Vehicle Broken into, Purse with 10k in Cash Stolen in Bistupur

Seraikela-Kharsawan district police inspector Alok Ranjan Chowdhary’s vehicle was broken into and his purse stolen on Adityapur Link Road under Bistupur police station’s jurisdiction.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a shocking incident, the vehicle of police inspector Alok Ranjan Chowdhary of the Seraikela-Kharsawan district police was broken into and his purse with Rs. 10 thousand in cash stolen.

Perpetrators committed the crime on a Saturday afternoon on the Adityapur Link Road under the jurisdiction of the Bistupur police station, by breaching the car’s trunk lock.

The police inspector filed an FIR at the Bistupur police station against the unknown culprit(s) following the incident.

Chowdhary reported that he had left his purse in the vehicle when he stopped at a hotel near Adityapur Link Road for lunch, after attending a shooting practice session at the police camp at Kudada in Sundernagar.

Upon returning to his vehicle, he discovered the theft.

The purse, which contained Rs 10,000 cash, an identification card, and other documents, was stolen from the back seat of the vehicle.
