74th Van Mahotsav Celebrated in Baharagora, East Singhbhum

The 74th Van Mahotsav was marked in Baharagora block of Jamshedpur with the presence of local MLA and district MP, planting saplings and emphasizing environmental conservation.

JAMSHEDPUR – The 74th Van Mahotsav was organized in Baharagora block of Jamshedpur, with the area MLA and district MP present as the chief guests.

During the event, the guests planted saplings and promoted the message of environmental protection.

The event was organized at the rest house of the Forest Department located in Baharagora.

For the next one month, Van Mahotsav will be organized in each assembly constituency of the district.

A glimpse of Jharkhand state’s tradition was also presented through dance during the event.

Apart from school students, a large number of local people attended the program.

The guests also planted saplings in the campus.

MLA Sameer Mohanty and district MP Bidyut Baran Mahato motivated everyone to plant trees and conserve forests.

Meanwhile, district DFO Mamta Priyadarshi appealed to all the attendees to plant more trees and protect the environment.
